We are all about America’s birthday here at La Spice Sister’s household…
We came up with another healthy rice krispy recipe, but with a 4th of July twist!
We started off with the secret ingredient: apple butter. We used this instead of butter and it gives the rice krispies a really unique, sweet flavor.
We started out by putting the apple butter and marshmallows together into a teflon pan and heating them until they melted together.
Then we poured the mixture into our rice crispies and placed them into a pan, to help hold their shape.
Make sure you top with whipped cream, pitted cherries, and some blue sprinkles!
