This week we have been branching out in terms of food and trying new combinations.
I have been reading a lot of Stuftmama‘s posts lately and her food layering and combinations have really inspired me. Of course when I tried to channel my inner Stuftmama, it didn’t turn out so well…
I even roasted my potatoes with pepper flakes. Its safe to say that my mouth was ON FIRE!
We’ve also been big on the cheese-less quesadillas:
On a healthier note, we love making our own vegetable spring rolls with rice paper.
In this next wrap we used Mushroom Burgers and Joseph’s Lavash Bread:
We put laughing cow cheese, mushrooms, cucumbers, the burger, tomatoes, and lettuce on the lavash and popped it into the toaster oven!
When we want something sweet in the morning, we make french toast with egg whites, vanilla, and cinnamon. Don’t forget the whipped cream and fruit! 😀
Another sweet treat we love are our meringue cookies. They are super easy to make, which is a big plus!
Last, but not certainly not least, hotel coffee! It is free and and never runs out 🙂
