Favorite Breakfast: Egg Scramble and more! <3

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I know you are all anxiously awaiting the giveaway winner! We will be announcing it in a few hours! I know I was excited.. it ended at midnight last night and I kept telling Savannah to wake up, wake up for 12 am. (It was our first giveaway)

This morning I made my favorite breakfast which takes less than 10 minutes. So it is a perfect breakfast for busy mornings while also squeezing in lots of healthy foods.

photo (17)In our family we LOVE Ezekiel English Muffins (try spelling that word) which are made from sprouted wheat, barley, millet, soybeans, lentils and spelt. They have 6g of fiber and 8g of protein in an english muffin! Can you believe that?! In our grocery store they are in the organic freezer section..so definitely check them out! I always spread mine with jam! Right now we are on a kick with Smuckers Natural Blackberry Spread 🙂

Everyone knows about eggs and scrambling them. I scramble two organic brown eggs with about 1/4 cup of organic skim milk.

Before cooking the eggs I chop up basically whatever vegetables look good from the vegetable drawer in our refrigerator. Mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers..you get the point and add in lots of black pepper. You can sauté these in a tbsp of olive oil or use just a little water.

photo (27)Once those are all cooked up, add your eggs and any cheese if you would like.
