250 Calorie Ice Cream Brownie Sundae

So last night I was craving something super sweet! The movie “This Means War” was on, which I love because it has Tom Hardy ( the only actor with a british accent that I like), Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine (ehh). So I made a quick run to the store during a commercial break.

Stocked up!

Arctic Zero is amazing! I am in love with the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor, but they have tons of others; Chocolate, Cookies N Cream, even Coffee (my favorite!) The amazing part; they taste almost just like ice cream, but you can devour the entire pint for only 150 calories and practically no fat!

Vita Tops are these delicious little muffins with only 100 calories and lots of added fiber, protein and vitamins… and chocolate! They are amazing! (and in my book; super food!) 🙂

I know Cool Whip doesn’t have many health benefits, but let us forget about that for now!

I measured out my sundae, just because I wanted to share with you specifics, but normally I just pile it all into a big bowl and devour!

I used:

  • 1 cup Chocolate Peanut Butter Arctic Zero
  • 1 Chocolate VitaTop
  • 1/2 cup of Cool Whip
  • 5 strawberries
  • dash of cinnamon

I do not usually eat ice cream off of a plate, but the house where I am currently living does not have many big or pretty bowls. But I will be moving in a few weeks, so my ice cream on a plate will no longer be an issue… as when it all melts, its a big puddle, rather than a bowl of sweet liquid 🙂

So definitely try this out!

-250 calories, -11 g protein, -17 g fiber, -54 g carbs, -27 g sugar, -1.5 g fat

  3. Great idea, Sierra. Thanks for the shopping assist. I wonder if I can find the ice cream and muffins here in the frozen north. I really, really have never liked the idea of cool whip so I do buy light whipped cream once in a while. I make the real thing for special occasions.

    1. Thanks Elaine, I am sure you can find both up there! Arctic Zero and the VitaTops are both in the Frozen section. Whole Foods should carry both, or a Fresh Market.
      Yes, I agree.. Cool Whip.. I eat it on the very rare occasion, and when I do.. I do not even want to think about what is in it!
